Fiat Uno review
Fiat Uno, was first launched in 1988, the Fiat Uno is a competitor of the Toyota Starlet and Daihatsu Charade. Relying on the body typical of Italy, Fiat's attempt to steal market in this class. Uno offers features that are complete in its class, such as electric windows, central door lock, rear fog lamp and rear seat folding mechanism to expand luggage capacity.
While the engine, Fiat is still out of date for the size of the late 80s era. Despite having engine capacity of 1301 cc, Fiat has not applied crossflow type combustion chamber so that the inlet and exhaust are on one side. This makes the Fiat is less efficient in terms of fuel consumption. But on lap down power reliable enough so that the condition of stop and go can be solved easily.
Italian-made car performance is quite promising. In new condition, Uno II (1372 cc) could drive up to 170 km / h. Acceleration 0-100 km / h dilibas in less than 11.4 seconds.
Unfortunately, car manufacturers Fiat withdrew in 1995. However, if they be visited back, Fiat has been exploring Indonesia since 1910. Even the name Fiat has been grounded in Indonesia through Fiat Sport Coupe Balilla. No less interesting is the legendary 1100 Fiat in the era of the '60s.
